You said you wouldn't beg,
And literally you didn't,
But you put your love life on pause,
So tell me what's the difference?
Love can be a strange thing,
It could be so much more if they felt the same thing,
Saying you still have somethings to figure out,
When the pieces were before you, you both didn't work it out.
And I'm not trying to intervene,
I'm trying to listen to your heart and see what it needs.
Attempting to give honest advice without showing my hand,
Like how life would be if I were your man.
But I'll let those thoughts slide,
