Clueless

It's like I thought I could apprehend,
But a conclusion was sorely missed.
Secured I had it set and planned,
Deducing in Love I was the MAN.
Know it, write it and how it should be,
How to relinquish the greater parts of me.
Scraping bottle of the barrel?
When it was only the tip of the iceberg.
I was severely absurd.
So let me take time to acknowledge of what I had no clue,
That I never Loved anyone until the day I met you.

Coming Attraction

She causes me to write for eternity,
Then stop to devise ways to say it more cleverly,
Pronounce to the globe my feelings forever,
And when they can’t comprehend, say “Whatever”.

Because I'm writing what flows from my heart,
Giving her all she deserves from the very start,
On those tablets, as things become more clear,
The direction through God, that draws her more near.

On moments when my mind sees her face,
Reminded its Him, then her, so priorities are never out of place,
Because I know what He gives, can also be taken,
So I secure my faith in Him, assured it's not shaken.

Ask Him for things to be as He deems,
For He’s never faltered concerning my needs,
And knowing my soul, His blessing to let these things be,
Like seeing the trailer of a movie I most want to see.

This morning I woke to a prayer received
Knew it was from you, that's what I believe
Writing these words trying to do the same,
A prayer to my love who's yet to be named...

Manifest one I'll have the deepest talks,
Hold on close for romantic walks,
An answer to when can I cook for two,
Or see a family vacationing and replacing them with you.

Watch romance movies and have you as my ending,
Wake up next to you each day a new beginning,
Valentine's year around because you'll be mine,
Thinking about fondly on the nine-to-five,

Reminisce at weddings about our first dance as one,
Or listening to music knowing that’s our song,
When you’re scared, into my arms fall,
The one everything drops for when ever you call,

Times when the house is quiet and you're by yourself,
To fill that void like no one else,
For those moments when you’re feeling some type of way
Know I’m coming home without delay,

If a cold dark night, for warmth to me,
Be one you most desired and longed to see,
Through the evening door to massage away the pain,
Waiting to listen to your day and what you have to say,

The one I'll love to say "I missed you",
Anything for a chance to goodbye kiss you,
No longer wondering when you would arrive,
Or the first time meeting, saying Hello or Hi,

So until times elapses for the reveal,
A heart's desire to join as one in this is sealed,
