She causes me to write for eternity,
Then stop to devise ways to say it more cleverly,
Pronounce to the globe my feelings forever,
And when they can’t comprehend, say “Whatever”.
Because I'm writing what flows from my heart,
Giving her all she deserves from the very start,
On those tablets, as things become more clear,
The direction through God, that draws her more near.
On moments when my mind sees her face,
Reminded its Him, then her, so priorities are never out of place,
Because I know what He gives, can also be taken,
So I secure my faith in Him, assured it's not shaken.
Ask Him for things to be as He deems,
For He’s never faltered concerning my needs,
And knowing my soul, His blessing to let these things be,
Like seeing the trailer of a movie I most want to see.
