I Cheated

Wasn't looking for this at any time,

Rising to the front before it gets out of line.
Caring for you and the testimony shows,
A deeper love from man, you'll never know,

The greatest that's in bodied in you,
Is where purest things hail so true.
A minor thing for me to give my life,
When forever and a day you are my wife,

And yet I find there's one issue,
Accumulating day by day like a volume,
In all my days I've never had this problem,
Conflicted notification to my heart's registration,

A Love of more than you, a founded accusation,
I cheated... I cheated on you,
Called to witness that all of me you haven't received,
I could sympathize if you were to leave,

For my heart, body and soul I'll give my life,
But the only one I'll do that for is Christ.
