Day 15: Interception

Yesterday I picked up a letter; I thought it was for me,
It stole my attention as I began to read,
And my heart refusing to put it down,
As the day calmed, the world made no sound.

Unconsciously rehearsing in my mind, never to forget,
Of the one they spoke and for whom it was sent,
The Heavenly Hosts had missed their friend,
As she came to Earth for a time to spend.

It told how they comforted, while in her pain,
Or assisted in avoiding ones who sought to do the same,
Seeing her family and helped nurture their souls,
As they carried her prayers when things seemed cold.

Loving how she grew stronger through the storm,
And how she held to God to keep her warm,
Then cheering and praising Him as she overcame,
And how they find joy at the mention of her name.

Missing her voice and its beautiful sound,
How she always smiled, as she wore her crown,
Finding victory, when others ran away,
How she called on God to lead her way.

I marveled at how amazing this person could be,
That cause Heaven to write across time and sea,
And sharing these same feelings for the only Angel I knew,
I knew the recipient of this letter had to be you.
