Turning off senses to all the world I see.
God my exception, as I focus my rule,
Abiding in Him, I suddenly find you.
Content with talking and sharing life events,
A laugh here, a smile there.
Grown and yet silly as kids,
Realizing the best in each other as we live.
Walking His path I've found a friend,
Enjoying each breath while they exist.
Respected and admired, I care for you the more,
Willingly entrusting the contents of my heart.
Living in the purity of the wait,
That's now and forever not for debate.
As you stand before me in the mist of all,
I inhale to exhale you seen in loveliest of white.
Your dress does not truly convey, the pureness I know,
Embodiment of this man's desire, to have and to hold.
From this day forward, held hands will never part,
Hands gripped to the Love we've found.
Love worthy of bands unbreakable,
In exchange for love unshakable,
Standing on the Rock of our foundation,
A sure foundation, as our future is forged.
The heat and pressures of life, remedy impurities,
Allowing God's intended plan to shine so bright.
Lights the torch of hope, so others may believe,
That Love has not forgotten, and it never forgets.
Required to be willingly to die for you,
Easily fulfilled as I die to live for you, the Love of you.
Completely expressing my heart, my soul,
Today recorded for all time forever more.
