III. Heart Leakage II
Uncontrollable is this flow
When it stops no one knows
What once was drip and also drop,
quickly speeds up tick and also tock
Remembering glimmers of the Heart so strong
Now travels down a path long gone.
Feelings the Mouth reserved to say
Possibilities Meant for a better day
It quickly carries them away
Futures that could have been
To unfamiliar places never where or when
Unknown to us where we may go
Seeing the current shed light on issues not known
Not realizing the damage this could have cause
Rethinking my thoughts could lead to a fall
Endeavoring to recover and to manage it all
Cut off the current from the foundation
Only a great friend would be the only expectation
Trying to salvage the beginning that were set
Reminiscing about the first time that we met
And relationship that was formed
Knowing a connection like this is not norm
The type when develop last any storm
Where the heart never alarmed
seeing it has no fear of harm
Yet in the absence of all that
I find myself hoping we can turn back
The hands time to a day that was surely divine.
A moment when your soul met mine
Looking through a mirror through space and time
Having thoughts of you being mine
dealing with moments so sublime
feeling I had met my match
never knowing I met my equal
Causing my heart leakage to lead to this sequel
Which was once was a drip and a drop
Quickly speeds up tick and also tock
Uncontrollable is this flow
but to save what could last it all must stop.
